Fruit composed of four attached nutlets (each a dry, indehiscent, woody, one-seeded fruit segment), 1–4 of which fully develop and detach from each other at maturity.

Nutlet teardrop-shaped in outline, dorsiventrally compressed, cross-section ± oblong to slightly C-shaped, 3–5 mm long x 2.5–3 mm wide x ca. 1.4–1.6 mm thick. Surface dull to semi-glossy (the latter under magnification), glabrous, tan to light brown with darker brown, gray and black splotches, texture cobblestone-like, with prominent longitudinal ridge on abaxial face and a perimeter ridge of prominent rounded tubercles.

Nutlet attachment scar on adaxial face, ± diamond-shaped.
