DELTA trap

Within the cotton belt of the United States, pink bollworm populations are monitored with Delta traps. Delta traps are baited with the pink bollworm pheromone and they are lined with a sticky substance to trap insects.

These traps attract a portion of the sterile pink bollworm males as well as four other types of moths that look like the pink bollworm.
