Diagnosis

3.0 mm long (n = 1); 2.0 times as long as wide (Sittichaya et al. 2019). This species can be distinguished from by the unique declivital summit bearing four sharp spines that extend beyond the over the declivity.

recorded from Campnosperma sp. (Anacardiaceae), Shorea leprosula, S. parvifolia (Dipterocarpaceae), Elaeocarpus sp. (Elaeocarpaceae), and Garcinia sp. (Guttiferae) (Sittichaya et al. 2019)

Remarks

Browne (1961b) notes that the species attacks small branches 1‒5 cm in diameter. The gallery system usually encircles the stem and has 1‒2 longitudinal branches in which the larvae develop (Browne 1961b).
