Diagnosis

3.0 mm long (mean = 3.0 mm; n = 5); 2.5 times as long as wide. The species can be distinguished by the pronotum appearing basic (type 2) when viewed dorsally, anterior margin serrate; elytral declivital surface shagreened, dull, opaque; interstriae granulate, granules multiseriate, confused; interstriae 1 moderately covered with semi-recumbent fine hair-like setae, less than half width of an interstria; and circumdeclivital ring margin setose, setae short, erect, hair-like.
