Tricosa cattienensis Cognato, Smith and Beaver (in Cognato et al. 2020a): 548.
2.7−3.1 mm long (mean = 2.98 mm; n = 5); 2.5−2.7 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by the discal interstrial punctures confused; protibia distinctly triangular; anterior margin of pronotum with a clear row of six moderate serrations.
This species is very similar to T. indochinensis but can be distinguished by the smaller size and stouter form.

known only from Pterocarpus (Fabaceae), Machilus (Lauraceae), and a cut liana (Smith et al. 2020b)
