Diagnosis

1.9−2.15 mm long (mean = 2.02 mm; n = 5); 2.86−3.07 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by the anterior margin of the pronotum rounded, declivital strial punctures indistinct, interstrial granules large, distinct, elytral apex narrowly attenuate and stouter form.

Coptodryas mus and Tricosa metacuneolus

Brunei, East & West Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan

Host plants

recorded only from two species of Shorea (Dipterocarpaceae) (Schedl 1958b)

Remarks

The gallery system has branched tunnels with small brood chambers in the longitudinal plane (Browne 1961b).
