Diagnosis

2.6−3.3 mm long (mean = 2.96 mm; n = 5); 2.2−2.6 times as long as wide. This species can be distinguished by the mesonotal mycangial tuft the length of the scutellum; elytral disc convex; declivity gradual and convex, with rounded posterolateral margins; pronotum conical frontally when viewed dorsally (type 0); pronotum armed by four coarse serrations on anterior margin (median pair larger than lateral pair); elytra smooth, strongly shining; and declivital striae deeply impressed.
