Diagnosis

3.3−3.6 mm long (mean = 3.48 mm; n = 4); 2.83−3.0 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by the posterolateral extensions of elytra short, less than the width of apical emargination; declivity shallowly excavated; and elytral declivity clearly, confusedly punctate.

This species is very similar to D. shoreae and can be distinguished by the puncturation of the elytral declivity.
