Diagnosis

2.2−3.1 mm long (mean = 2.51 mm; n = 6); 2.4−3.1 times as long as wide. This species is distinguished by the lack of a scutellum; 1−3 moderately sized denticles on declivital interstriae 2; and pronotum anterior margin basic, short, rounded and parallel-sided when viewed dorsally (type 2, Hulcr et al. 2007).

Host plants

recorded only from Vatica (Dipterocarpaceae) (Browne 1961a)

Remarks

The number of tubercles on the elytral declivity can be very variable.
