2.9−3.5 mm long (mean = 3.21 mm; n = 10); 2.23−2.54 times as long as wide. The species can be distinguished by the pronotum appearing basic (type 2) when viewed dorsally, anterior margin serrate; elytral declivital surface shagreened to opalescent, dull, opaque; declivity glabrous; and declivital interstria 1 granulate (typically near apex), interstriae 2, 3 unarmed.
