Pimenta dioica (L.) Merr., Contr. Gray Herb. 165: 37 (1947).

Description

Fruits of allspice are globular, 5-7 mm in diameter, with a pebbly brown surface.

Nativity and distribution

Pimenta dioica is native to Belize, Cuba, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, and Nicaraugua.
