Dipsacus sativus (L.) Honck., Verz. Gew. Teurschl. 1: 374 (1782).

Description

The inflorescences, or capitula, of the fuller’s teasel are 3-9 cm long, ovoid and prickly.

Nativity and distribution

Dipsacus sativus is probably native to the Mediterranean but cultivated worldwide.
