Habit. Cultivated citrus and relatives in the United States are most commonly shrubs or small trees. Crowns tend to be rather dense and compact, although a few relatives, particularly young individuals of Casimiroa spp., Eremocitrus glauca, and Zanthoxylum spp., exhibit rather open canopies. Individuals of Eremocitrus glauca also exhibit a weeping habit.
